CFHTLS D4 Oct07

The CFHT Legacy Survey and SWIRE observations for October 2007 targets galaxies detected the optical/IR imaging. These masks cover the D4 field near RA=22hr.

The target selection is similar to the CFHTLS_XMM_Oct07 fields, but without the Spitzer selection. That is, galaxies and possible QSOs (according to blueness of the optical colors of PSFs) are targeted. The priorities are:

  1. CFHT_CALIB (108): F stars (from the optical imaging)
  2. CFHT_BRIGHT, CFHT_FAINT (208): Density-dependent sparse-sampled primary objects. Bright set is everything with iAB < 22.5 that is a galaxy or is point source which is possibly a QSO. Faint set is 22.5 < iAB < 23, sampled at 30%.
  3. CFHT_FILL (308): All sources not in primary sample with iAB < 23.
