DEEP2 02hr Jan06

This is a page about the PRIMUS project.

The "deep2_02hr" survey is in one of the DEEP2 fields and is meant to provide a set of calibrations for the redshifts.

The priorities in this field were:

  1. SDSS_FAINT (100): SDSS DR4 objects with i>19 and good spectra (7 in the mask)
  2. SDSS_CALIB (200): SDSS F stars (46 in the mask)
  3. DEEP2_BRIGHT (300): good DEEP2 redshifts with R<23 (zquality>=3) (408 in mask)
  4. DEEP2_FAINT (400): good DEEP2 redshifts with R>23 (zquality>=3) (513 in mask)
  5. DEEP2_FAILED (500): bad DEEP2 redshifts (1<=zquality<=2) (193 in mask)
  6. DEEP2_OTHER (600): untargeted DEEP2 galaxies passing DEEP2 color cuts (221 in mask)
  7. SKY (10000): in areas without DEEP2 or SDSS targets (125 in mask)
