SLaCKERS

SLaCKERS is an acronym for the Sloan and Las Campanas Kinematics and Environment Redshift Survey. The goal of the project is to establish group membership for galaxies down to Mr < -15 in large sample of low density groups.

Observing Run April 2004
- In April 2004 Michael Blanton and Dimitri Apostol traveled to the Las Campanas Observatory in Chile to observe low-luminosity objects in distant groups for the SLaCKERS project.
- A total of 85 redshifts in 11 groups were obtained.

Analysis of the Data
After obtaining redshifts and other object properties (magnitude, color, etc.), plots were made in hopes to find trends among the data. The following pictures represent the more interesting observations found:
